Botox®, Jeuveau®, and Dysport® are FDA-approved treatments that are injected into the muscle to improve the look of moderate to severe wrinkles and lines within the face. These products, also known as “wrinkle relaxers” improve the visible signs of aging by relaxing the muscle which yields a glowing, smoother, more youthful appearance of the skin. The most commonly treated areas are forehead lines, frown lines, and the crow’s feet (the lines around the eyes when you smile). Botox® can also be used in the treatment of certain medical conditions including migraines, hyperhidrosis, and TMJ. This is a quick 15-minute treatment and results may be noticed in as little as 48 hours lasting up to 4 months.
Juvederm® Collection and Restylane® Collection are FDA-approved injectable dermal fillers made of hyaluronic acid which is a natural substance that already exists within the human body. These products restore volume loss and fullness to the skin and lips by smoothing away wrinkles and folds. Common treatment areas are lips, cheeks, smile lines, nasolabial folds (the folds that extend from each side of the nose down face toward mouth) and the back of hands. Results are immediate and last 9-12 months.
Sculptra is an FDA-approved injectable dermal filler that works differently than other dermal fillers. Sculptra is made of (poly-L-lactic acid) which gradually replaces lost collagen, by restoring the deep underlying structure of the skin and volume. Sculptra helps to kick start the production of collagen in the area it is placed. This slow steady process takes 4-6 weeks.
Sculptra can be used in many different areas, such as the face for wrinkles and folds, the neck for “tech neck”, hands, knees, and to add volume and fullness in the buttocks or hip dips.
Kybella® is the only FDA-approved injectable treatment that gradually destroys fat cells over time, which will improve the appearance and facial profile of the moderate to severe submental fat below the chin, also known as “double chin”. Submental fullness affects both men and women and may be caused by genetics, weight gain, and aging. Visible results may be experienced within 2-4 treatments.
Latisse® is the first FDA approved treatment used to grow eyelashes longer, fuller, and darker. In clinical studies improvement was seen gradually in about 16 weeks with daily use. This product will be for sale in office.
QWO is the first and only prescription medicine used to treat moderate to severe cellulite in the buttocks of adult women. Qwo is a non-surgical treatment given by a series of injections over 3 treatments scheduled 21 days apart. Although it’s not fully understood how QWO works in moderate to severe cellulite. The enzymes in QWO—called collagenases—are believed to target a structural cause under the skin.
It’s thought that QWO works in 3 ways: releasing fibrous bands, redistributing fat cells, and stimulating the growth of new collagen.
At your appointment, your aesthetic specialist will discuss treatment and expectations. After identifying the treatment areas,
they’ll use a small needle to inject QWO. You may receive up to 12 injections per treatment area. Visible results may be achieved in 10 weeks.
QWO injections take 10 minutes or less.
