Aesthetics Nurse Practitioner
LaShundra began her career in nursing many years ago. Geriatrics was her first love, as she has always had a passion to help the aging population. Her nursing background includes wound care, case management, and more. She attended The University of Southern Mississippi where she earned her Bachelors, and Masters in nursing with and emphasis in family medicine. She later returned to complete an additional certification in Psychiatric Mental Health and obtain her Doctorate of Nursing Practice. Her most recent accomplishment was becoming an Aesthetics Nurse Practitioner through advanced training in neuromodulators and dermal fillers. She continues to practice daily in Pediatrics and Internal Medicine, as she has for the past 7 years.
LaShundra has always had a knack for fashion and all things beauty. She takes pride in having a well-balanced, healthy life which starts from the inside out. She has always been interested in aesthetics and appearance and this is how her passion for medical aesthetics arouse. Her favorite phrase is “true beauty never fades”. “I am here to keep everyone aging gracefully. I will set real expectations and enhance each client’s beauty with an outcome to appear as natural as possible”. As we age, we began to lose collagen and elastin as a natural part of the aging process, and the fat pads in our face began to decrease and slide down.
